Bone marrow smear from a patient with CDA III. May-Grünwald-Giemsa staining was used and the image was taken by bright field microscopy with 100× objective (Leica DM3000, Leica Microsystems CMS GmbH, Wetzlar, Germany). Two polychromatic erythroblasts, 1 with 7 nuclei (right) and 1 with 5 nuclei (left) are shown. Anisocytic and hypochromatic erythrocytes are also evident.
