Severe iMCD requires having 2 of the 5 severe criteria. Mild iMCD requires having all 5 of the mild criteria. Intermediate cases do not meet criteria for mild or severe. Mild and intermediate cases are considered to be nonsevere for treatment algorithm purposes.
