M2PK mRNA expression was undetected in all subjects.
UD indicates undetected mRNA expression by qRT-PCR, which, according to the sensitivity of the method calculated for our samples, should be lower than 1/103 to 1/104 of the RPK mRNA expression obtained for the control patient with hereditary spherocytosis.
A value of 1.0 was assigned to the control to normalize mRNA expression.
