B-B4, or the control murine IgG1, was used at a concentration of 0.1 μg/mL and 2.5 μg/mL on frozen sections or on paraffin arrays respectively, to achieve equivalent staining in controls.

For staining intensity, 3 indicates strong; 2, moderate; 1, weak; and 0, no staining. Homo (homogeneous) indicates that more than 75% of cells were stained; hetero (heterogeneous), 25% to 75% of cells were stained; focal, less than 25% of cells were stained; and scattered, less than 5% of cells were stained.
