Recovery is expressed as the percentage of input of live CD4+ cells recovered at the end of the primary MLR.
Responder frequency is expressed as the proportion of input naive B6 CD45.2 or tolerized B6 CD45.1 CD4+ T cells that responded to stimulation by dividing.
Proliferative capacity is expressed as the mean number of daughter cells generated per naive CD45.2 or tolerized CD45.1 CD4+ T cells that divided. Data represent 1 of 2 reproducible experiments.
