PI values are presented as the percent of the Fcγ receptor bearing the FcγRI TM. PI values ranged from 92 to 108 for RIIIA-RI-γ and from 0 to 1 for RIIIA-RIIIA-γ. PI values for RI-RI-γ ranged from 50 to 83 and for RI-RIIIA-γ from 2 to 9. As anticipated, the PI values reflect the surface expression of the Fcγ receptors. Phagocytosis was examined in cells transfected with both Fcγ receptor and Syk kinase because Syk kinase increases the efficiency of phagocytosis. MFI values are similar for Fcγ receptors expressed in the absence or presence of cotransfected Syk kinase.
