Effect of γ chain coexpression on Fcγ receptor cell surface expression

The experiments were conducted in transiently transfected COS-1 cells. Receptor cell surface expression was determined by flow cytometry and is expressed as mean fluorescence intensity (MFI). mAb 32.2 was used for the FcγRI experiments and mAb 3G8 was used for the FcγRIIIA experiments. The MFI values of transfected Fcγ receptors are presented as the percent of transfected Fcγ receptor + the γ chain, considered as 100%. Values are expressed as the mean percent + SD.
