The cells were stimulated sequentially with different chemokines, and changes of intracellular free calcium ([Ca++]i) were monitored as shown in Figures1 and 2. The rate of the [Ca++]i rises in the absence of stimulation was set to 100%, and the percentage rate obtained after prestimulation was calculated.
