In 40 patients, serum samples were collected during different phases of the disease. Bulky disease and stage were defined as specified in the text.
LR indicates lymphocyte rich; NS, nodular sclerosis; MC, mixed cellularity; LD, lymphocyte depletion; and NOS, not otherwise specifiable, indicates patients in which the histological subtypes could not be ascertained. The different groups of patients showed similar findings at diagnosis.
