Locomotion assay of nonlabeled cells, cells labeled with anti-CD43 mAb and secondary Fab or F(ab′)2 fragments-TRITC conjugated. Cellular labeling was performed at 4°C, cells were then incubated 15 minutes at 37°C and mounted between a coverslip and a slide (serum coated). Video analyses were performed at 37°C for sequences of 10 min. The proportion of migrating cells and their speed were determined by morphometry. Table 1 represents the results of 3 replicate experiments. The differences between c and the controls (a, b) are statistically significant (P < .025). The differences between the speed of locomoting cells are not statistically significant.
