Results are the mean of 7 animals of each genotype. Peripheral blood cells were analyzed by staining with antibodies specific for B (anti-B220) and T (anti-CD3) cell antigens. Gut intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) were enumerated on histological sections and expressed per 100 epithelial cells. BM = bone marrow; RAG = recombinase activating gene.
