Level of engraftment (%) refers to the percent of human CD45+ cells detected in the marrow of mice in which both human B-lineage (CD19/20+) and myeloid (CD15/66b+) cells were detected. The (average) relative proportion of the total culture in each of the 2 fractions compared can be readily derived from the data shown in Fig 3. In these experiments, 83% to 90% of all the cells recovered in each experiment were used to assess the distribution of CRU between the 2 fractions being compared.
