Lymphoid LTBMC were performed as described.25Nonadherent cells (number of cells indicated in Table 1) and clonogenic cells of control cultures or cultures grown in the presence of HA (100 μg/mL; rooster comb HA from Sigma) or HA’ase (Streptomyces HA’ase, Calbiochem; 0.1 U/mL) were determined weekly. Time-course data similar to those for myeloid LTBMC (Figs 1 and 3) were obtained. The Table lists the numbers at 4 weeks, when the maximal effects were achieved.
