Varying concentrations (in nanograms per milliliter) of mFlt-1-hIgG1 and/or its ligands were added to cultures of Flk-1+ cells on OP9 feeder layer. After 3 days of culture, the number of Flk-1+ cell clusters in each culture was counted. The results are expressed as a percentage of that in culture without exogenous factors. Values are the mean (±SD) of three independent experiments.
