Two populations were shown by anti–bcl-2 staining. The calculated ratio is based on the percentage of positive cells expressing bcl-2 in each area (bcl-2low and bcl-2high). Significant P values were obtained from all cell sources between the ratio for bcl-2low and bcl-2high in primitive hematopoietic cells and more mature cells.
