Letters assigned to the other 3 strains indicate amino acids that differ from C57. Amino acid 1 starts with the ATG of the translation start codon for each of the expressed proteins. Amino acids are designated by the conventional letter code. No intracellular polymorphisms have been reported in these glycoproteins.
