Sixty-one percent (200/328) of moderate and severe bleeding episodes within the first 100 days after BMT had bleeding from 1 site, 17.4% (57/328) had 2 bleeding sites, 3% (10/328) had 3 or more sites, and 6.4% (21/328) had multiple bleeding (initiating simultaneously from multiple sites). Significant correlation was found between the number of sites and the bleeding severity (P = .0022).
