sFas values were transformed to their ¹⁰log value for statistical analysis. For each, complication, regression coefficient (B), standard error (SE) and P values are given. In this analysis, B represents the effect of the presence versus the absence of a complication on sFas levels. Thus, a positive B indicates an increasing effect, whereas a negative B indicates a decreasing effect on sFas levels.
