Lin⁻c-Kit⁺Sca-1⁺ and Lin⁻c-Kit⁺Sca-1⁻ cells were sorted singly into 96-well flat-bottomed plates. The clone-sorted cells were cultured in each well containing serum-free culture medium supplemented with 1,000 ng/mL of leptin and/or 100 ng/mL of SCF for 7 days.
