Clots were prepared from 8 μM fibrinogen supplemented with 20 mM CaCl2, the indicated additives, and 16 nM thrombin. The permeability coefficient (Ks) was calculated as described in “Materials and methods.” Ks values and SD were calculated from at least 6 samples originating from 3 independent experiments.
