EA.hy926 cells were grown for 24 hours in serum-free DMEM in the presence or absence (control) of AcSDKP. Active (A) or total (T: pro + active) secreted forms of MMP-1 and MMP-2 were quantified by specific ELISA in EA.hy926 cell–conditioned media and calculated in ng/106 cells. Results are expressed as the mean ± SEM of 6 independent experiments.
