Early- (pro-B and pre-B cells combined) and late- (immature and mature B cells combined) lineage B cells sorted from bone marrow were cultured for 24 hours in serum-free medium at a concentration of 106 cells/mL medium. The detection threshold of the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays for CCL3, CCL5, and CCL2 was greater than 31 pg/mL, and for CCL4 and CCL11 more than 15 pg/mL. The means ± SD of 3 experiments, each done in duplicate, are presented. < dt indicates below the threshold of detection.
