The mSWAT score assesses the total skin involvement in PCL by the summation of the product of the approximate BSA covered by 1 of 3 types of skin lesions (patch, plaque, or tumor) multiplied by the weighting of 1, 2, or, 4, respectively, for lesion type. The percent BSAs per body area in the above table are from Lund and Browder.²⁹
